Two 1/4-inch stereo headphone outputs (Headphone 1 and 2) with level controls. It’s an HEF4094 shift register ( datasheet. Peel and cut the glue.) 2) On the main circuit board, find the chip labeled U23.

#DIGI 003 SPECS MOD#
Some suggested ASIO4 all but im a bit apprehensive as my PT is working fine, and don't want to be totally dead in the water with no DAW working. Aux Input pair (+4 dBu) for direct monitoring of tape or CD input sources. This mod tricks the Mbox into analog preamp mode (mode 2) when plugged into a USB power supply: 1) Remove 2 screws and take off the right side of the case. So as the Preferences in Reaper all point to 003 for ins and outs I get nothing to show up on screen allowing me to manipulate any mics have plugged in.
#DIGI 003 SPECS GENERATOR#
I used a reaper plugin and found a tone generator which I could tweek to sound like a string instrument It allowed me to record and playback I need to have the 003 as the interface for reaper so I can use 003 preamps to record live instrument's as I do much recording using real musicians and at times use the virtual instruments to make demos /ideas or to add strings, horns etc to existing mulitrack recordings of real players. I tried the tone generator from reaper and used axiom 61 midi controller. Trying Reaper and it appears to recognize 003/allows playback BUT will not allow, show tracks on 003 though all of the configurations under inputs and outputs all recognize 003 input routing just as it should be.

Using Win 7 /64 bit,8 G RAM PC built for recording, never had any issues with Protools 8.5 for years.ASIO driver. Of course you could always get a purpose built laptop from somewhere like here. REAPER will run on almost anything, but if you get a system that's stable with 'Tools you can pretty much guarantee it'll be glitch-free for everything else. If I were setting up a new rig I would probably just build a desktop myself following the specs for a Pro Tools 11 system.you're more likely to get something compatible with the oo3 that way. REAPER is a lot less resource hungry than 'Tools, so the old laptop is just fine for me (and I still sometimes have 70 odd tracks and 100 odd plugins in a project). My main recording rig, however, is simply a Core2Duo Toshiba laptop with Win 7 Pro (圆4) and Win 8 Pro (圆4) on a dual boot setup.I run both REAPER (圆4) and (x32) on both partitions fine with the 003, and the firewire chipset is Ricoh as well (which is problematic for some). You're welcome gibtion.I have an old desktop with a firewire card that runs Win xp (my old Pro Tools rig, which runs fine).
